Most web companies are either too technical or too focused on pretty looking, yet ineffective websites. They overcharge because of high overheads and big offices, and they often don't take the time to properly understand a client's business, so they miss the mark on what their customers are looking for.

I've built, grown, owned and sold multiple businesses, and I've been a business advisor specialising in Sales, Marketing & Systemisation for over 20 years. I've run 100s of sales and marketing workshops to 1000s of businesses all across Australia and New Zealand, teaching business owners how best to market their businesses online.

Around 20 years ago, I was one of the first business coaches to prioritise getting your website found online over advertising in the Yellow Pages. As a result, I started the Find My Business marketing agency because, back then, there were no companies doing online marketing, only web companies building very expensive websites.

I understand what small businesses actually need, and the importance of a simple, effective website designed to get found. I also see how the online world is changing, and the important of designing everything so it's read by AI as well as humans. I work from home, which keeps overheads low and value high.

In 2020 I decided to semi-retire and move to a property overlooking the sea near Moeraki. 

But, having watched the website industry get worse rather than better, I've recently restarted my agency to focus on one thing: helping South Island local business owners, even those with with no technical skills, get customers to 'Find My Business' online.
